When the torrential rains hit the Louisville, KY area, Churchill Downs experienced severe flooding. First Response crews quickly responded and headed south to rescue and restore the Kentucky Derby Museum. First Response extracted the water and dried the structure to get the museum back in business fast.

"The cleanup crews have spread over 750 feet of dryer tubing throughout the museum space and they've pumped more than 150 gallons of water out of the air alone in the top floors of the museum."

"We are lucky we didn't lose more of the exhibits and historical items. No major piece of the collection has been lost. We are very lucky with that. The majority of the pieces that were impacted were paintings, they can be conserved."
